Why Single Origin?

Single origin coffee describes coffee beans which are sourced from a single region, crop, or producer. They are typically only available during exclusive seasons, which generally makes it a more high-quality product. We chose to focus on single origin options because we believe coffee is a way to experience other cultures. Like tea, most coffee comes from the same tree, but the profile varies greatly depending on soil and climate of the growing region. Our coffee options are 100% Arabica or Peaberry and do not use Robusta beans as a filler.

Cumberland Valley Coffee

Cumberland Valley Coffee is a family owned and operated coffee roasting company located just north of Nashville in Greenbrier, Tennessee.

Cumberland Valley Coffee was founded in 2008 by Bob & Charlene Grant.
Cumberland Valley Coffee was created like many others are. There was a problem that needed to be solved. Bob, our Master Roaster, could not find a good coffee roaster in his area. After a lot of frustration searching for the perfect cup of coffee...he decided to take action! Bob, with his family, decided to create the best coffee company in Middle Tennessee. Their “Fresh Roasted in Tennessee” Coffee has been creating raving fans ever since.

Paradise Mountain

Mike formed Paradise Mountain after a trip to Thailand with a group of friends and the best cup of coffee he's ever had. The company supports two Thai communities, is direct trade with the farmers and USDA Certified Organic. The farms are zero waste and the roastery runs 100% on solar power. The three plots of land that grow their coffee were created without cutting down any trees and the company has been awarded the Smithsonian Bird Award for highest shade grown category. We certainly tried several Thai coffees on the market and none compared, that's why Mike is our chosen Thai coffee partner!
